Professional Organizing Services by Heidi (POSH Consulting) launches The Posh Bay; a new venture
dedicated to streamlining business practices in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Posh Bay focuses on organizational and
project management for businesses and individuals.
OAKLAND, CA, ISSUED JUNE 1, 2009…Heidi Solomon of Berkeley, CA has expanded to the West Coast and opened a new division
of POSH Consulting, The Posh Bay, (www.ThePoshBay.com) dedicated to corporate and residential professional organizing and project
management.
The new division of POSH was a natural step for the consulting firm. Having worked with many businesses and non profits on
the East Coast, including MIT, Realty Direct, Amity Insurance Agency, and The New England Tractor Trailer Training School,
Solomon realized a strong need within the business communities for efficient and productive work environments nationwide. She
responded by launching a bi-coastal operation to better serve clients on both coasts.
"The downturn in the economy has
affected every business. With budgets being cut, maximizing efficiency and productivity are a must to prosper during
difficult times. There is large demand for affordable and cost effective organizational solutions amongst businesses of all
sizes. By effecting meaningful change I enable businesses to meet their goals and improve their bottom line without breaking
their budget or laying off employees... for the majority of my clients they see an immediate impact on their daily
operations and in their lives. As I began assisting individual businesses, I saw a great need for this type of service that
was not being met," she said, which led to the creation of the new division.
POSH, an acronym standing for "Professional Organizing Services by Heidi," offer a hands-on approach to creating functional,
stress free and productive environments. POSH also works with individuals. Projects she anticipates working on include paper
and project management, office build outs, event coordination and developing organizational systems to make businesses run
more smoothly. "POSH makes people's lives less stressful and more efficient, from the large corporate executive to the
individual who runs a home office to the working mother juggling the responsibilities of a household and job. We help them
live the life they deserve and work so hard for," she said.
Solomon is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the
National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO-SFBA) and sits on the Executive Committee for the Massachusetts State
chapter of the National Museum for Women in the Arts. In 2008 Solomon earned the prestigious professional accreditation of
Certified Professional Organizer, CPO®.The Hingham, MA native is a graduate of Union College in New York and
