What is a professional organizer?
A professional organizer enhances the lives of clients by designing systems and processes using
organizing principles and through transferring organizational skills. They provide information, products and and/or assistance to help others meet their organizing needs. An organizer will guide, encourage and educate clients about organizing by offering support, focus and direction. A professional organizer helps individuals and businesses take control of their surroundings, their time, their
paper and their systems for life. We give you the systems you need to get and stay in control.
Why would I hire a NAPO organizer vs a non-NAPO organizer?
The National
Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO)
has been recognized as the organizing authority
for 20 years. NAPO offers organizers the opportunity
to sharpen their skills through ongoing education and professional development and NAPO has a Code
of Ethics which members are expected to abide.
A professional organizer who is a NAPO member
has made a commitment to his/her business and
thus to you, the client.

Why hire a Certified Professional Organizer (CPOŽ)?
Certification of professional organizers maximizes the value received from the services provided and products recommended by
a CPOŽ. Certification is granted through the
Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO). CPOŽ Certification recognizes those professionals who have met
specific minimum qualifications and proven through examination and client interaction to possess the body of knowledge and
experience required for certification. P.O.S.H. President, Heidi Solomon, is a Certified Professional Organizer (CPOŽ).

What is your confidentiality policy?
We are aware of the high level of trust placed
in organizers by their clients. We will never
do or say anything to breach that trust. Integrity,
honesty and confidentiality are guiding principles
of NAPO that we take very seriously. Our non-judgmental
approach will make you feel comfortable in the
process. Return to top
How long will it take to get me organized?
There is no set answer as each organizing project
is different and depends on what you want to accomplish.
The length of the project will depend primarily
on the size of your home or office, the amount
of clutter and/or paper that has built up and
how quickly you can make decisions. Do you want
to address a small area for a quick fix or do
you want to attack the whole house for long-term
changes? We will develop a plan to maximize your
results. Return to top
How much does it cost and how do you charge
for organizing services?
We will discuss fees in our initial phone consultation.
The total cost of a project can vary from client
to client. Time spent on a project is based on
individual needs. For scheduling purposes, we
ask for a three-hour minimum and a 24-hour cancellation
notice. Sessions canceled without 24-hour notice
are charged the full rate. Fees are payable at the end of each session. Cash, Checks, MC, Visa, American Express & Discover Card (via Paypal) are accepted. Click the button below to make a payment.

How do you work with clients?
Each project begins with a no-obligation phone
conversation that helps us asses the best way
we can work together. We then create a work arrangement
that fits your needs, budget and schedule. We
see some clients every week while we work with
others on a project basis. Return to top
How do you handle organizing projects?
We tailor our services to accommodate your style.
We come prepared with the tools and supplies we
need for each project. We take a hands-on organization
approach working side by side with you to assess
the area, identify solutions, clear and organize
space and then create a system to maintain and
organize it. We always try to work with organizing
products and supplies you have on hand before
suggesting the purchase of additional products.

Should I buy supplies?
Absolutely not. Let's first figure out what you
want to do, how much you will be discarding, and
how you want to organize the rest. Buying the
wrong supplies can just create more clutter. Return to top
How do I keep the space organized?
Part of each project involves creating a system
that works for you to keep you organized. The
project’s success depends not only on our
expertise and delivery but on your commitment
to maintain the systems we create together. We
are always available to return for periodic maintenance
or to re-evaluate a space if your situation changes. Return to top
