Professional Organizing Services by Heidi (POSH
Consulting) launches POSH-Boston; a new venture
dedicated to streamlining business practices.
POSH-Boston focuses on organizational and project
management tasks for businesses and individuals
BROOKLINE, MA, ISSUED MARCH 3, 2007... Heidi Solomon
of Brookline has opened a new business, POSH Consulting,
dedicated to professional organizing, corporate
and residential relocation and project management.
The business is an outgrowth of work she had done
individually for a number of area clients, including
Realty Direct-Boston, Amity Insurance Agency,
and The New England Tractor Trailer Training School.
"There is large demand for affordable cost effective
organizational solutions amongst businesses of
all sizes. By effecting meaningful change I enable
businesses to meet their goals and improve their
bottom line without breaking their budget... for
the majority of my clients they see an immediate
impact on their daily operations and in their
lives. As I began assisting individual businesses,
I saw a great need for this type of service that
is not being met," she said, which led to the
creation of the new company.
POSH, an acronym standing for "Professional Organizing
Services by Heidi," also works with individuals.
Projects that she anticipates working on include
database development, project management, office
build outs, event coordination and developing
organizational systems to make businesses run
more smoothly. "POSH will make people's lives
less stressful and more efficient, from the large
corporate executive to the individual who runs
a home office," she said.
Solomon is a member of the National
Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO),
the New
England Chapter of the National Association of
Professional Organizers (NEPO) and sits on
the Executive Committee for the Massachusetts
State chapter of the National Museum for Women
in the Arts. The Hingham, MA native is a graduate
of Union College in New York. She completed a
year of graduate research in Israel, and has experience
working in the State Office of Minority &
Women's Business Assistance (SOMWBA) and in the
Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse First
Boston. She also served as a Steering Committee
Member and primary organizer of COEJL's (The Coalition
of the Environment and Jewish Life) First Annual
Environmental Festival in Boston.
